Mike founded the Bergen Briller Group in 1999 and over the last ten years he has focused on building and leading a unique search firm that specializes in the placement of human resources executives and professionals across all industries, geographies and functional areas of expertise within the human resources profession.

With an emphasis on building a consultative and holistic relationship with each of his clients as well as a focus on conducting thorough evaluative assessments to identify and inventory premier talent at all levels in the HR marketplace, Mike and BBG have been able to build long-term partnerships with premier HR organizations and leaders.

Prior to founding BBG, Mike spent his Human Resources career at the General Electric Corporation, Citigroup and Cigna. He held a variety of Generalist, Staffing, Organizational Effectiveness and Leadership Development roles within these organizations.

Most recently at Cigna, he was a Vice President of Executive Resources. And prior to that at Citigroup, Mike's last role was VP, Human Resources for the corporate office of the Global Consumer Business as well as the Head of HR for the marketing function globally.

Together with the CMO he led the creation of a world-class consumer marketing organization staffing over 200 senior marketing roles globally. He also developed and managed the comprehensive assessment and succession planning process for over 2000 staff and line marketing professionals worldwide.

At GE, he was a participant in the renowned HR Management Development program and held a series of HR functional and generalist roles in manufacturing and service businesses. Mike holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania. He is a former Captain and Helicopter Pilot in the U.S. Army Reserves. Mike resides in Bucks County, Pennsylvania with his wife and two children.


Mike Bergen
 

Mitch co-founded the Bergen Briller Group in 1999 and over the last ten years has been instrumental in helping to build BBG into a search brand that is well respected in the marketplace Ð from start-up organizations to the largest Fortune 100 companies.

Senior Human Resources executives count on Mitch for his assessment of HR talent, knowledge of the HR marketplace and for leading successful HR search engagements. He has been instrumental in helping to guide the careers of many senior HR leaders.

Prior to co-founding BBG, Mitch spent his Human Resources career at AlliedSignal/Honeywell, Citigroup, PepsiCo, M&M/Mars and NBC.

He held a variety of Staffing and Generalist and OD roles within these organizations. Most recently, he was the Director of Staffing for AlliedSignal/Honeywell where he was accountable for all staffing activities for the organization as well as leading the staffing integration effort for the AlliedSignal Ð Honeywell merger.

Mitch successfully managed many executive level searches for the organization as well as set policy direction for the Staffing function.

At Citicorp, Mitch's last role was VP, HR Staffing and Development where he led the HR staffing and development efforts for the Americas. The primary focus of this role was to recruit and develop the highest caliber talent for the Human Resources function. Prior to this role, Mitch was a Sr. Generalist providing Human Resources leadership to the Manhattan consumer business.

Prior to Citicorp, Mitch served in a variety of HR roles with Pepsi Co., M&M/Mars, NBC, and Chemical Bank.

Mitch has a Masters degree in Personnel Psychology from NYU. He resides in Morganville, N.J. with his wife and two children.


Mitch Briller
 

Having led large global recruitment functions and other strategic HR initiatives at name-brand companies such as Colgate, Merck, Allied Signal and Prudential, Pat Feehan understands the business objectives and unique challenges that employers face when building teams that win, worldwide. Pat is putting his 15+ years experience to work for the Bergen Briller Group, where he is an executive search partner focused on helping clients identify and hire top talent, with a particular emphasis on human resources.

Pat was most recently Director of Talent Management at Colgate, where he was responsible for internal talent management, succession planning and external staffing. He gained valuable global expertise as Colgate’s Director of Global Staffing, responsible for developing Colgate’s strategy for recruiting on a global basis, directly managing hiring activities in North America, and leading executive search activity around the world. Pat also led the company’s Global HR Transformation Project to redesign how HR services were delivered worldwide.

Before joining Colgate, Pat was at Merck & Co. where he was Director of Staffing, overseeing their external corporate recruiting activity. Prior to that, he had 10 years of increasing responsibilities in both staffing and HR generalist roles at both Allied Signal and The Prudential.

Prior to embarking on his HR career, Pat spent time as a high school and college basketball coach. He earned his BA in English and History from Spring Hill College and a Master’s degree in Education from East Stroudsburg University. Pat lives with his family in Montclair, N.J.


Pat Feehan
 

Kate joined BBG as an intern and was invited to join BBG upon graduation from Bloomsburg University as a Staffing Consultant in January of 2003. Today, as Staffing Manager, Kate contributes to the overall recruitment process by sourcing, assessing, and following through with top talent in the HR marketplace. Additionally, she spends her time assisting BBG in broadening and leveraging the scope of it's research capabilities, managing and maintaining the client/candidate database, and providing information to candidates on the client organizations and development values of the positions.

While a student at Bloomsburg University, Kate was instrumental in founding the University’s chapter of The Society for Human Resources Management, and served as Vice President and Secretary for four terms collectively. In addition, Kate was the editor of the SHRM bi-monthly newsletter and Chair of the Merit Award, Community Service and Fundraising and Public Relations committees.

Kate resides in Yardley, Pennsylvania.


Kate Enwright
Rick Frado – Staffing Consultant
 

Rick has over twenty-five years of experience in lead staffing roles with companies such as Motorola, GE, Lockheed Martin, Allied Signal, KPMG and J&J.

While at Lockheed Martin he used his recruitment and process skills to drive recruitment of world-class experts who were able to solve problems that had caused three geosynchronous spacecraft to fail during launch. Providing that solution diffused a billion dollar lawsuit by customers and resulted in no further failures to this day.

During his tenure at Allied Signal, he was the staffing lead for a billion dollar business. He was recognized as an expert in Human Resources recruitment and was asked to support high potential recruitment for the VP of Human Resources-Talent Management for the entire corporation.

His charter at KPMG was to build a national recruiting practice from scratch to support the highly competitive PeopleSoft and SAP HR Consulting Marketplaces. He designed a staffing process map that allowed his team to reduce hiring time by 75% an increase the number of hires by a factor of nine over the previous year.

Today Rick is a Staffing Consultant who uses his HR candidate identification and evaluation skills to support the firm's retained search activity.

Rick resides in Newtown, Pennsylvania with his wife.


Rick Frado
 

Wendy joined The Bergen Briller Group in September of 2006 bringing ten years of diverse experience to the firm. As Administrative Manager for BBG her primary responsibility is facilitating candidate flow and maintaining client associations from an administrative perspective as well as acting as a central point of contact for those within BBG whose primary focus is to cultivate client and candidate relationships. In addition, she handles BBG financial records and expedites contract administration. Some of Wendy’s other contributions to the organization include managing client and candidate backgrounds and information, managing and maintaining the client/candidate database as well as the company website and general management responsibilities for all BBG locations.

Prior to joining BBG Wendy provided executive support for the Vice President of Regional Sales for a multi-million dollar process controls sales and distribution company where she maintained relationships with industry leaders such as Honeywell, GE, Merck, Dupont, and Praxair.

Wendy resides in Newtown, Pennsylvania with her son Alex. She enjoys working out, reading, and art.
